A lonely country hotel in the Lake District, a dark, atmospheric drawing room with only one man and one woman inside and a snowstorm raging outside. It quickly becomes clear that Olivia moved to this desolate place with her newlywed husband Robert to escape from something. Or from someone? What starts as a comfortable, romantic evening quickly twists and turns into a suspenseful night. While at first, only a mysterious phone call disturbs the couple's apparent peace, a few dark secrets from Olivia's past soon add more unease. Suddenly a very obscure man appears at the door who appears to be lost and Olivia must face the dreaded mistakes of her past.
A wonderful play for all crime lovers, who enjoy ambiguous characters and pleasant chills.
